En route for Paris

Le vendredi 13 Decembre Mr A et moi nous sommes lever tot pour sauter dans le train afin de nous rendre a l'aeroport de Luton et s'envoler direction un weekend a Paris :) 

Friday 13th December Mr A and I woke up early to jump on the train to go to the Luton airport direction a weekend in Paris :)

La journee auras ete longue et fatiguante. 

Mais apres avoir couru, marcher, attendu et s'etre perdu nous somme enfin arriver a Ivry sur seine ou nous avons ete heberger par ma tante. 

this has been a loong and tiring day.

But after running, walking, waiting and being lost we finally arrived to Ivry sur Seine where we slept at my aunt's house.

Aujourd'hui j'avais envie de creer un peu mais pas pour ma boutique pour une fois.

La semaine derniere j'avais trouver ce DIY et ai donc decider de me mettre au boulot. 

N'ayant pas de feuille noir et etant trop flemmarde pour aller en acheter j'ai decider de peindre mes feuilles en noir. 

Un coup de ciseaux, un peu de colle et on accroche au mur!!! 

C'est tres rapide et j'aime beaucoup le resultat. Ca me donne meme envie d'en faire encore plus ^^ 

Today i wanted to create a bit but not for my shop this time.

Last week i found this DIY and decided to give it a try.

I didn't have any black sheets of paper and being to lazy to go outside to by some i decided to paint my white papers in Black.

A bit of scissors and glue and we hang them on the wall!!! 

It's really quick and i love the result. It make me wants to make some more ^^ 

Halloween

Cette annee nous n'avions rien de prevu pour Halloween. 

Nous pensions assister a la parade en ville mais la nouvelle saison de The Big Bang Theory commencais ce soir la... Nous avons nos prioriter ^^ 

This year we had nothing planned for Halloween.

We were thinking about going to the parade in town but the new serie of The Big Bang Theory were starting this day... We have our priorities ^^

Meet Vivienne

J'ai l'honneur de vous presenter notre nouvelle petite recrue a la maison. Une femelle cameleon que nous avons appeler Vivienne (nommee apres Vivienne Westwood) 

I am happy to present you our new baby who arrived at home last Friday. A female chameleon named Vivienne (we named her after Vivienne Westwood. My favourite stylist of all time!) 

 Je suis amoureuse. Elle es trop chou. Mais j'ai hate qu'elle grandisse car elle es tellement petite que j'ai peur de la casser a chaque fois que je la porte. 

I am in love with her. She is so cute! But i can't wait until she is bigger because she is so small i'm scared to break her everytime i hold her.

The Phantom of the Opera

Jeudi dernier Mr A et moi avons eu le droit a une journee que l'on ne sera pas pret d'oublier. 

Pas toujours dans le bon sens... 

Nous avons eu le droit a une journee catastrophique et magique a la fois. 

Last Thursday Mr A and I had a day we will not forget.

Not always in a good way...

We had an awful and a magical day. 

Nous sommes aller a Londres pour aller voir la comedie musical "Le fantome de l'Opera" 

We went to London to see the musical "The Phantom of the Opera"

Nous avons acheter nos billets via une agence. Etant moins cher et avec le transport inclus nous avons penser que ca pouvais etre une bonne idee. Nous avons vite dechanter. 

We bought our tickets via an agency. Less expensive and with the transport included in the price we thought it was a good idea. We quickly seen that it wasn't. 

Le voyage etait en bus. Depart a 8h du matin pour assister a la seance de 2h30.

Le bus es arriver avec 10 minutes de retard. Je ne me suis pas trop inquieter a ce sujet car ca peu arriver. 

Nous montons dans le bus. Le chauffeur nous donne nos billets de spectacle... C'est la que le drame commence.

The journey was on a bus. The departure was at 8.00 am to arrive for the 2.30pm show.

The bus arrived 10 minutes lates. I wasn't really worried because it happens.

We climb in the bus. The driver gave us our tickets... This is where the nightmare began 

Nous avons decouverts que sur nos billets nous n'etions pas assis a la meme rangee.

Nous avons commencer le voyage aller a ce demander comment c'etait possible et comment on allais faire sur place. 

We discovered on our tickets that we wasn't sitting on the same row. 

We started the journey wondering how it was possible and how will we going to do when we will be there. 

Arriver sur place nous avons demander conseil a un employer du theatre (chouette au passage :) petit mais vraiment sympa) Si il pouvais nous aider. 

Il es aller ce renseigner et es revenue en nous annoncant que nous devriont attendre les personnes qui voyageaient avec nous et leur demander si il etait possible d'echanger de place.

At the theatre (really nice place :) small but really nice) we asked to a guy who were working there if he could help us. 

He went to ask to the box office and came back telling us that we should wait for the other passengers of the bus and ask them to swap the seats. 

Chose faite nous avons enfin pu nous relaxer et apprecier le spectacle. 

Un moment magique! 

J'avais adorer le film mais le spectacle es beaucoup mieux. 

Seats swapped we finally been able to relax and to enjoy the show. 

A magical time! 

I loved the film but the show is absolutely better.

5h30 fin du spectacle. C'est l'heure de remonter dans le bus. 

Un retour abonimable. 

Coincer dans les bouchons pendant a peu pres une heure et bus qui s'arrete a la station pour echanger de chauffeur mais finallement nous annoncer qu'il n'y a pas de remplacant et que nous devont rentrer avec les mini vans qui attendaient dehors. 

5.30pm end of the show and time to go back in the bus.

An awful way back.

Stuck in the traffic during almost an hour and the bus who stopped to change the driver but finally telling us that there isn't any other driver and we have to take a mini van to go back home. 

Mr A et moi sommes d'accord. Nous ne repasserons plus par une agence. 

Cette experience nous aura suffit. 

Mr A and I agreed. We won't buy our tickets via an agency anymore.

This experience was enough.

Edgar Allan Poe in his skin

Hier Mr A et moi avions rendez vous chez le tatoueur pour ajouter une nouvelle piece au bras de Mr A.

Etant un tres grand admirateur du poete Edgar Allan Poe il a decider de ce faire tatouer son portrait avec plusieurs pieces rappelant ses poeme.

Yesterday, Mr A and I had an appointment to the tattoo shop to add a new piece on Mr A's arm.

As a big fan of Edgar Allan Poe he decided to get his portrait and a few pieces reminding his poems tattoed.

J'etait vraiment impatiente de voir le resultat et je doit dire que je suis bluffer par la premiere partie! 

C'est magnifique! 

J'ai hate de voir la suite qui sera ajouter dans 2 semaines. Mais j'ai surtout envie de le voir fini. 

I was really impatient to see the result and i must say that i love the first part! 

It is amazing!

I can't wait to see what will be adding in 2 weeks but most of all i want to see it finish. 

The Making Of Harry Potter

Il y a 2 semaines mon amie Ju' es venue passer quelques jours a la maison.

Visite de Norwich pour elle, Bowling, Resto... mais surtout Harry Potter! 

Depuis bien 2 ans nous n'arretons pas de parler d'aller a Leavesden pour aller voir les studios Harry Potter. Nous avons donc profiter de sa visite pour y aller. 

Apres 2 heures de train et 1h30 de bus nous avons pu passer une journee magique a visiter les studios, voir les decors, les costumes, les perruques, nous sommes monter sur un balai (Daniel Radcliffe avais raison ce n'es pas confortable du tout! ^^) et plus encore. 

Je n'oublierais jamais cette journee. Je pense meme deja a y retourner ou a aller a celui de Floride ^^ 

2 weeks ago my friend Ju' spent a few days at home.

Visit of Norwich for her, Bowling, Restaurant... but most of all Harry Potter!

Since almost 2 years we are talking non stop about going to Leavesden to see th Harry Potter studio.

So we decided to go during our time together.

After 2 hours of trains and 1h30 of bus we spent a magical day visiting the studios, seeing the sets, the costumes, the wigs, we flew on a broom ( Daniel Radcliffe were right it isn't comfortable at all! ^^) and many more. 

I will never forget this day. I'm even thinking about going back there or going to the one in Florida ^^
